Jewelry Carding
The Legendary Story of How It All Began
Back in the mid 1960’s, a local Rhode Island jewelry salesman was tasked with something that would change the way the world displays jewelry.
It began in 1967 when Jack Feibelman, the founder of A&H Worldwide, worked as a jewelry salesman in what was once known as the “jewelry capital of the world.” One of his jewelry customers needed a way to display earrings and Jack set out to develop a solution to solve that problem. A few weeks later, the invention of the hanging jewelry card was complete.
Fast forward to today, jewelry carding has taken on a whole new meaning. Jewelry brands are using carding to tell their brand stories and to create eye catching ways to entice consumers to consider their products.
There are many benefits of jewelry carding:
Carding comes in many different shapes and styles and can be used for earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, and all sorts of other types of jewelry.
It is available in many types of materials including recycled and recyclable plastic, as well as paper board. Just about any type of carding can be branded using various techniques including 4 color print, hot stamp, emboss/deboss and more.
Jewelry carding is fast and efficient. Applying jewelry to carding is quick and easy, making it an effective packaging option.
Jewelry carding attracts consumer attention quickly. Whether your jewelry is bold and striking or soft and subtle, your jewelry carding can be the deciding factor when it comes to consumer purchasing decisions.
Carding is both space saving and very affordable, making it a preferred choice when it comes to jewelry packaging.
At A&H Worldwide, we not only invented the hanging jewelry card, but we also changed the way the world merchandises jewelry.
